How to Enable Cookies in Your Browser

Any website that involves temporary storage of information (for instance, a site that keeps you logged in whilst you browse member only pages, or keeps track of the contents of your shopping basket) will use a browser technique called "cookies". These are small pieces of information (such as the unique ID of your shopping basket) which are stored inside your browser and sent to the website each time a page loads.

Without cookies, you would have to log in every time you wanted to visit a new member-only page, or the website would not be able to know what products you have added to your shopping basket.

If cookies are not enabled in your browser, then websites such as those above will not work, and will usually display a message such as "you must enable cookies" or "this website requires cookies".

If you need to enable cookies, select the browser you are using from the list below for a step-by-step guide.
