Expertise Wales - major new Welsh Government portal launched

Eazyweb are pleased to announce the launch of the Expertise Wales website, an important new knowledge portal providing a central point of access to the expertise available in Universities and Colleges across Wales.

Expertise Wales has been developed to facilitate collaborative and knowledge transfer activities amongst academic and business communities, and is the first of its kind on a national scale for Wales.

The site represents the contact information and catalogued expertise of all Academic Institutions across Wales, together in one attractive, searchable ‘info portal’. Eazyweb have been able to bring together the information from many different sources, and convert it into a fully searchable online system, within an attractive and fresh interface. In addition, Eazyweb produced all of the design for the portal, including the development of a suitable logo, colour scheme and the sourcing and licensing of suitable imagery.

This important national portal is hosted in a secure facility, on a purpose-built business-strength server. The backend system provides remote access to users from across the Welsh academic sector to update their own pages on the site.

The site provides a highly interactive experience for site users, with an intelligent search engine, advanced interactive map, and the ability to register to receive emailed updates direct from the site.
